2009 Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor Training

 American Red Cross of Northwest Alabama and Sheffield Parks and Recreation department are again teaming up to provide Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course.  Enrollment is now open for this year’s classes.

*** The minimum age requirement for LG is 15***

Lifeguarding courses:
10 March - 25 March (Class I)
1 April - 8 April (Class II)
Class fees are $170.00

Lifeguarding recertification class:
Sunday, May 3 - Water Skills recertification
Tuseday, May 5 - CPR Pro / AED and First Aid recertification.
Both classes are $75.00, CPR/AED recertification alone is $30 (Students must provide own pocket mask)

 Water Safety Instructor course:
27 April - May 6
Class fees are $130.00.
